Lil Sluggers: Age 4
The Lil Sluggers division is designed for our youngest players to get them acquainted with the DLL baseball experience. This program is run by DLL coaches for 60 minutes covering all of the baseball fundamentals using fun games and drills to keep all players interested and involved.  Players will learn how to run the bases, throw, catch and hit.  There will be no teams or official games as the emphasis will be on learning the basics, fun and activity.  Every player will get a hat and jersey and they will also be involved with the T-Ball Sunday activities.

T-ballAges 4-6
Intro to Little League for the players new to baseball providing a T-ball experience that is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals as the key to growing a child’s love for the game.  There is no player evaluation as players are drafted by managers typically assembling teams of friends and blind picks.  Practices begin in mid April with games starting at the beginning of May.  There are normally two games a week, with one weekday game and one on Saturday.  No scores are kept, everyone bats every inning with the last player hitting a home-run.  The highlight of the season is T-ball Sunday when we celebrate our league’s future! The kids have a chance to play on the Majors field, have their names announced and enjoy other fun and games! T-ball Sunday is not only a highlight for T-ball, but also for the entire league!

Cs: Ages 6-8
The C division is an instructional division for the kids moving up from T-ball.  Some 6 year olds may be eligible for the Cs if they have already played T-ball and are ready to move up, those players must request special permission from the Player Agent to be added to the C player pool.  Players are evaluated at the player evaluations and drafted by the C managers.  Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this introduction level of Little League.  The Cs begins with coach pitch to acclimate to hitting a pitched ball and then progresses to player pitch mid-season.  Scores and standings are kept, but the focus of the C division is to learn the fundamentals and nuances of every position and develop a love for the game.

Bs: Ages 8-10
The B division is the next step up and is the division with the most age overlap.  The B division is a little more competitive than the C division as stealing is introduced and the level of play is elevated.  Most players have played at least 1-2 years in the Cs.  Some 8 year olds may be eligible to play in the Bs, if they are not drafted to the B League they will be added to the C player pool and drafted by a C manager.

Majors: Ages 10-12
The Majors division is the highest level of Little League play.  12 year olds must play at the Majors level.  All players are evaluated and drafted by Majors managers.  If a player is not drafted, he/she will be automatically added to the B player pool and drafted by a B manager.
